Girls Night

Last night was the Father/Son campout with church. I get off easy since I have all boys, although Liam did stay behind - he's just a little too small for my comfort to go camping with all the big boys without the supervision of his mommy too. I had to work yesterday and couldn't find a sitter for Liam. Jared wanted to leave around 2 or 3pm to get up there and get settled and let the boys play. I ended up having to find coverage for the last half of my shift which is sometimes a pain to do, but I got lucky. I came home got the boys packed and off to camping and it was just Liam and me. We met up with a friend from work. My friend and I are both trying to lose some of our baby weight and had started a new diet. I am down 9lbs now with only 6 more to go. So Liam and Eli's baby weights are gone...just two more babies to go. It will be nice to get back to the weight I was when I got married. We decided with our weight loss it was time to go shopping. A new swimsuit was our goal. Sadly I have not purchased a new swimsuit in 4 years...I haven't been too interested in getting the post baby body in a swimsuit period, but now I'm feeling better about it.
We shopped for 4.5 hrs. It was great!!! We each found 2 swimsuits and 1 for her little girl. It was a great night and Liam as always was a great sport. He hardly fussed at all - only when he was hungry.
Liam slept til after 8 this morning and now are headed out again to finish up some more shopping. Man having only 1 kid to take around is really really easy!

I had so much fun last night! Liam was wonderful and always so happy and smiling. We definately need to go shopping again soon or just go out to dinner and movie.

Liam's first time on River Rampage - he got drenched but loved every minute of it! Doesn't he look so small! We wanted to do one last fun summer trip for the boys before school starts this Thursday. We took a day trip to Dollywood. We got there a little after the park opened and it was not very crowded at all. We walked on almost every ride and if we had to wait it wasn't longer than a few minutes. Last time we were there in May Adley was just shy of being able to ride all the big rides. We learned about a place where they will measure you and give you an armband that has the appropriate color that corresponds with your height category. This way you are measured once and simply just have to show your armband to get on the ride. Adley was thrilled that he was tall enough this time to ride any ride in the park. Mickey Mouse

Mickey is a very loved mouse in our house. Liam absolutely can't get enough of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on Disney. When he wakes up in the morning he comes straight to my room, snuggles in between Jared and I and turns on the tv for his cartoon. He sits there with his arms behind his head and legs outstretched. He is so darn cute. So the other day I decided to buy him a stuffed Mickey. He was so surprised and loved it. Checking him out. Mickey now has his own corner in Liam's crib. He likes his 'pets' in specific places. Also, guess who is potty training???? The only kiddo I have left in diapers - woot woot!!! He has started this all on his own and so I'm optimistically hoping for December to be down to pull ups at night. Liam won't speak to tell us he has to go he just pats himself and points to the bathroom - whatever works right! And here is our very first tomato from our tiny 1 plant garden....... It's been a while . . .

since I last posted. We have been so busy this month. Adley had his Christmas program at his preschool - they studied Italy and dressed so cute. They sang the song, "when the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that's amore . . ." (not sure of the exact title). Adley has sung it several times since to many people. I think he might be musical when he gets older. We all recovered from our sickness and made the journey to Arizona to see my family. We spent 12 days there and had a wonderful time. Surprisingly it was warmer here at home while we were gone then it was in Arizona. We got to go to the Lego store, which the boys loved. We played at a really fun park, visited with friends, made a gingerbread house and sugar cookies, ate at our favorite places, went to the movies, enjoyed a visit from Santa at the house and tried to get in some rest.
