Merry Christmas!!!

Wow it has been a really really long time since I posted last. We have been so busy here and I apologize for the lack of info about our family. To sum up the last month in a nut shell. We spent Thanksgiving in AZ. We had such a great time and I think for the first time ever none of the kids got sick, we didn't lose our luggage and we didn't have flying delays. Yeah!!! Our kids did especially well on the flights. We were able to do lots of fun things in AZ. We went to Tucson for a mini family reunion and went to the zoo. Since we were in Tucson where I went to college we took the kids down to the Univ and walked around. Aidan kept wanting to see a classroom, but it was a Sat. and all of the doors were locked. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving meal and enjoyed seeing family that I hadn't seen in 5yrs. It was so good to see my family. We got to meet my new niece Kensi and see rest of the kiddos as well. I also enjoyed going shopping with the girls, buying new clothes, …

Playing in the leaves!!!!

Jared has been in the yard most of the morning getting up all the leaves in our yard - you could hardly see our grass, driveway or sidewalk!!! I have been inside trying to get things ready for when we leave tomorrow and I thought that the boys were out working - they were but they were playing too - what little boy can resist a pile of leaves!!!

Happy Belated Birthday to Aidan!!!

Okay, so I am a couple of days late wishing Aidan a happy birthday and making a post all about him. First off - I can't believe I have a 5 year old already!!! Next thing I know he will be in the 6th grade, then high school, then on a mission. . . Ugh I can't even think about it - as much as I am excited to see him grow up - there is just something neat about having them little. I guess the good thing is that as he grows older he will be more independent and I will be a little bit more free. For example, Aidan can take a shower all by himself now - now I only have to worry about bathing 2 kids instead of 3. Nice!!!
Okay on to the pictures. . .

October festivities

Okay here we go - I am going to try and sum up everything that we have done in the last 2 weeks in one blog entry.
Carving Pumpkins and Making cookies: We spent one night about a week before Halloween carving our pumpkins and making yummy cookies - thanks to the kit that my mom sent the boys. The boys had a great time. Here are a few pictures.

Aidan's FieldTrip - So we ended up not missing out on Aidan's field trip after all. They ended up canceling the trip the day Aidan was sick due to rain so we were able to go the following Friday. It was very nice of the school to let Adley come as well. We went to an apple orchard and learned about different kinds of apples, took a wagon ride, walked through a corn maze and picked out pumpkins. It was fun to see Aidan interacting with the kids at this school.
