4 months

Liam is now 4 mos old. He is such a fun little boy - he smiles, he giggles, he rolls over now, he sits in his Bumbo chair, he holds toys and he makes A LOT of noises. We love him!!!!
He hasn't had his 4 mo checkup yet, but I did weigh him the other day when I was at work. He weighs 15lbs 13oz with clothes on. He is right up there with how much the other boys weighed at this age - although Aidan takes the prize at 17lbs 11oz at 4mos. Liam is still struggling with some skin issues - most currently around his mouth - probably associated with the moisture of his pacifier - but he is not ready to give that up, and I'm not ready for him to give it up either. So we have some medicine to help it. His chubby cheeks though are now soft and smooth.
Liam is also very tolerant - he puts up with the many face to face conversations that Eli likes to have with him, and the loud noise of our house - this baby can sleep through a lot. Here are some recent pictures and a video of him rolling over as a request from my sister.

The summer is going well so far. We have been trying to stay busy. We have had a couple of rough days, but mostly fun days. We have one of Jared's friends and his girlfriend staying with us until Saturday. Jared and I even get to go on a date tonight. Then on Monday we will go to Dollywood again and then camping over July 4th. I have never camped with a baby so we will have to see how that goes. Below is a picture of the boys lining up at the back door before we leave. We were playing Simon Says.

love Liam's pictures, and the video is great - he did so good at rolling over! I'm so anxious to see him in a few months. Pretty awesome that you got the boys to line up at the back door, even better that you got a picture! *PS I found a pair of smaller jeans for you!

Liam's first time on River Rampage - he got drenched but loved every minute of it! Doesn't he look so small! We wanted to do one last fun summer trip for the boys before school starts this Thursday. We took a day trip to Dollywood. We got there a little after the park opened and it was not very crowded at all. We walked on almost every ride and if we had to wait it wasn't longer than a few minutes. Last time we were there in May Adley was just shy of being able to ride all the big rides. We learned about a place where they will measure you and give you an armband that has the appropriate color that corresponds with your height category. This way you are measured once and simply just have to show your armband to get on the ride. Adley was thrilled that he was tall enough this time to ride any ride in the park. Man do I love this little boy! He is full of squeals, smiles, slobbers, hugs, crumbs and dirt. He is at such a fun age. Liam says a lot through the faces he makes because he is quite stubborn and shy and still not wanting to talk much. He says a hand full of words, shakes his head yes and no and is starting to make different sounds. He is making progress so I am not too worried anymore. And if you haven't heard or noticed....no more pacifier....Yay! Liam is growing up so fast but is still my most snugly baby. He loves to rock in the chair before nap and bed and when he gets up in the morning he often times runs to my room to crawl in bed with me for more snuggles. I just love it! Up next, to turn his crib into a toddler bed....then all signs of 'babyness' will be gone, ah so sad! Liam learned how to climb anything recently, kind of scary! It's been a while . . .

since I last posted. We have been so busy this month. Adley had his Christmas program at his preschool - they studied Italy and dressed so cute. They sang the song, "when the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that's amore . . ." (not sure of the exact title). Adley has sung it several times since to many people. I think he might be musical when he gets older. We all recovered from our sickness and made the journey to Arizona to see my family. We spent 12 days there and had a wonderful time. Surprisingly it was warmer here at home while we were gone then it was in Arizona. We got to go to the Lego store, which the boys loved. We played at a really fun park, visited with friends, made a gingerbread house and sugar cookies, ate at our favorite places, went to the movies, enjoyed a visit from Santa at the house and tried to get in some rest.
