Father's Day Breakfast!!

Last monday - the 3rd, was Father's Day breakfast at Aidan's school. Since school isn't in session when it is Father's Day they have a special breakfast for the dads. Jared had a great time and Aidan was so excited to have his daddy at school. Jared said that Aidan kept saying, 'Daddy this is the best day ever!!!' The kids sang a few songs and then they ate breakfast. Aidan actually participated this time - not like at Christmas when he refused to be in the program. We were very proud of him.
So I thought I would share a couple of pictures.

Also - Eli is officially walking now - everywhere. He started this on March 6th. We have a video of him, but Jared is currently trying to downsize it so that I can post it on the blog.
Well I need to get going - Eli is stinky - my cell phone is not entertaining him anymore (he figured out how to turn it on too) - he is pulling all of the paper out of my shredder (pain to clean up) and Adley is screaming at me to help him with his Star Wars game. I can't wait to see what the rest of the day is going to be like. Wish me luck!!!

what a fun program, Aidan looked super cute and I have to add that he looks a lot like Grandpa Salmon in the bottom picture! what do you think? it was good talking with you today... I'll call you Thursday

BOY!!!! Yes we will be adding another boy to our family. We were a little surprised that again it is another boy, but we are still excited. I have to say I did shed a tear or two over it not being a girl (this is most likely our last baby) but I am grateful that we have been able to have children and 4 for that matter. Now we will start to think of names . . . any ideas??? For those who have girls - since I will now forever be surrounded by boys - please remember I will gladly borrow your daughters from time to time. :-) Also I have finally had to give up wearing my real clothes and have moved on to maternity clothes - at least they have gotten cuter over the years!!

Mickey Mouse

Mickey is a very loved mouse in our house. Liam absolutely can't get enough of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on Disney. When he wakes up in the morning he comes straight to my room, snuggles in between Jared and I and turns on the tv for his cartoon. He sits there with his arms behind his head and legs outstretched. He is so darn cute. So the other day I decided to buy him a stuffed Mickey. He was so surprised and loved it. Checking him out. Mickey now has his own corner in Liam's crib. He likes his 'pets' in specific places. Also, guess who is potty training???? The only kiddo I have left in diapers - woot woot!!! He has started this all on his own and so I'm optimistically hoping for December to be down to pull ups at night. Liam won't speak to tell us he has to go he just pats himself and points to the bathroom - whatever works right! And here is our very first tomato from our tiny 1 plant garden....... We have a few more and hope they will ...

Definitely a Boy!

Lately Eli has been very curious about using the toilet. He watches when the big boys go to the potty during the day and when they are done he will come to me, trying to get his pants/diaper off and point at the bathroom door. Whenever the boys get in to the tub they go potty first. He too has been wanting to use the potty. He will often point and grunt at the toilet. So we sit him on the toilet for a few minutes, he smiles then wants to get off. While in the tub he points, grabs, and is totally intrigued by his boy parts and the other boys parts. Well this morning I guess he didn't want to wait until bath time again. Here is a picture of how I found Eli in his crib this morning. I opened the door and had found him with his PJ's unzipped, one arm out, one leg out and his diaper undone. He had found his boy parts again. My first thought was 'please, please let it only be a wet diaper,' thankfully it was. I had to take 2 pictures, the first was a little more expo...
